La Porte LakeFest rolls out full event schedule

La PORTE, IN (July 1, 2021) - The full concert lineup for La Porte's inaugural LakeFest was unveiled today, according to Park Superintendent Mark Schreiber.

The concerts, which will take place at Dennis F. Smith Amphitheatre in Fox Park, are free to the public and open to all ages. With the performers spanning across multiple genres, Schreiber said there is a live show for everyone to enjoy.

"Our committee could not be more excited to announce our live music schedule for this year's LakeFest," Schreiber said. "Both headliners, Wayne Baker Brooks and Rich Hardesty, will bring incredible energy to the stage and give the crowds nights to remember. And Fiesta del Lago will provide an amazing celebration of Latin music and dancing. We cannot think of a better way to celebrate the return of live shows than with three straight concert events at the newly renovated Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater overlooking Clear Lake." The schedule includes: Friday, July 30

  • 7 p.m. – Fantasy Band
  • 9 p.m. – Wayne Baker Brooks

Saturday, July 31

  • 7 p.m. – Too Bad Company
  • 9 p.m. – Rich Hardesty

Sunday, August 1

  • 1 p.m. – Fiesta del Lago (Latin music and dancing)

In addition to these shows at the amphitheater, Schreiber said the downtown festivities on Friday, July 30, will be filled with live music as well, including performances by La Porte's own E-Man Fokianos and Middle of the Road Band.
