La Porte Wastewater Department
The collection system is a key piece of La Porte's infrastructure and is instrumental in helping keep our local lakes and environment safe and clean. Without a means of transporting sewage to a facility where it can be properly treated, our lakes and groundwater would become contaminated, leading to the spread of disease and illness. Additionally, the work the wastewater treatment facility performs helps assure the community safe, reliable drinking water.
To report a spill into the wastewater (sewer) system, please call (219) 362-2354.
