Understanding Your Bill

March's bill might look a little different, as Phase 4 of the water and wastewater increases and Phase 2 of the trash collection inceases take effect. 

City of La Porte utility customers can expect to see an increase for sewer and water services. Stormwater increases will mostly impact larger customers (i.e. commercial and industrial accounts). Even with these increases, City of La Porte utility costs still remain below the state average. 

Due to increases in labor costs, fuel, etc., trash collection fees have increased from $12.99 to $13.50. This is the second of four phases which are set to be complete by 2026. Click here to view increase ordinance.
