The City of La Porte Park & Recreation Department is currently looking for an Art Camp Assistant to provide support to our Art Camp Supervisor during our Art Camp this summer.  The candidate must have a background in art instruction (not just arts and crafts) and strong organizational and communication skills. Must be comfortable working with various ages, from preschool through middle school.

Wage:  Up to $12.00 per hour 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Ability to report to work as scheduled and notify the appropriate individuals in advance if unable to work.
Ability to establish and maintain effective, harmonious, cooperative, and productive working relationships with the public, supervisors, and other employees of the City of La Porte.
Ability to work with minimal daily supervision.
Background check will be performed.
