La PORTE, IN – As a service to enterprise zone businesses, the La Porte Urban Enterprise Association is sponsoring a workshop to review tax-saving incentives available to businesses that are located within the LaPorte Enterprise Zone, as well as go over the completion of required forms and changes in filing dates.
The workshop will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, and take place in the Clear Lake Room at the Healthcare Foundation of La Porte, located 140 East Shore Parkway in La Porte. Steve McKinney, representing Indiana’s Department of Local Government Finance, will be providing information about the Investment Deduction Form EZ-2.
Various tax and financial incentives are available in LaPorte’s Enterprise Zone that impacts a business’ cash flow. This workshop will explain the incentives in detail. All businesses located within the Enterprise Zone are invited to the workshop. However, businesses that have never used the incentives are strongly encouraged to attend this event.
