Snow Emergency

In the event of incliment weather, the snow emergency parking procedure will take effect. The purpose of this order is to clear the streets to allow plows to pass through. 

Here's what you need to know: 

• During this time, parking along emergency snow routes is NOT permitted. 
• On an odd-numbered day of the month, parking will be permitted only on the side of the street that corresponds to odd-numbered property addresses. 
• On an even-numbered day of the month, parking will only be allowed on the side of the street that corresponds to even-numbered property addresses. 
• Vehicles in violation of the snow emergency declaration may be towed at the owner's expense. 

Power outages can be reported to NIPSCO on the NIPSCO app, online at NIPSCO.com/out or by calling 1-800-4-NIPSCO.

If you are in need of assistance during such a time, please call 911. 

During such a time, please avoid all non-essential travel, and use extreme caution if you must head out onto the roads. Stay warm and stay safe!
