    The City of La Porte Common Council meets the first and third Monday of each month, at 7:00 pm in the Council Chamber of City Hall.     WANTED: Chili Masters!! Do you think your chili is worthy? Bring your favorite chili, a crockpot and ladle to our chili cook-off and find out! Not a chili maker? Be a chili taster and join in the fun! Chefs must pre-register by submitting the cook-off application along with the entry fee to the Park Office by Friday, January 20. The public is invited to taste the chili beginning at 12:30 p.m. by paying a $5 entry (children 10 and under are free).
