    Join Unity Foundation of La Porte County for a ribbon cutting celebrating their Love Our Lakes project on Wednesday, September 9 at 5:30 p.m. The ribbon cutting will take place at the former Roskoe's site along Pine Lake in La Porte. The ribbon cutting will be administered by the Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce. For current and future generations, Unity Foundation of La Porte County purchased two acres of land at the former Roskoe's site to insure the view of Pine Lake remains open for all to enjoy - providing both social and economic benefit. With generous support from local businesses, construction firms, individuals and families, Unity is nearing the goal to pay off the land and gift the park to the city.
