    Private College Week is a chance for you and your family to check out what Indiana Private Colleges have to offer. From Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, Indiana’s 31 non-profit independent colleges and universities are inviting students, families, and anyone else interested to come experience their campuses through free tours and informational sessions. Visiting a campus can be an instrumental part of making your college decision. Campus visits can provide information and experiences that cannot be gotten through websites, brochures, or other sources. This is a great opportunity to see what each of our unique campuses has to offer! There is no need to register with ICI; simply contact individual admissions departments to set up visits.     July 26, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ The City Parking Lot at the northeast corner of Lincolnway and Monroe.

    The Downtown La Porte Farmers Market opens on Saturday, May 17th and runs every Saturday morning through October. Fresh Local Fruits and Veggies, along with fine cheeses, eggs, plants, arts/crafts, baked goods, live music, fun and fellowship. Join us in Downtown La Porte at the Farmers Market!

  5. LP County Historic Society Old Car Show

    July 26, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ La Porte County Historical Society Museum

    The La Porte County Historical Society will host its 7th annual Old Car Show on Saturday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show is held on the grounds of the museum, 2405 Indiana Ave., La Porte. The event is open to cars 30 years and older. Nearly 100 classics, muscle cars, and collectible cars of all eras will be on display outside the museum.

  1. NSA Girls Fastpitch North/Central Class B World Series

    July 22 - July 25 @ Kesling Park

    The NSA Girls Fastpitch North/Central Class B World Series comes to town, beginning Tuesday, July 22, at Kesling Park. Our diamonds will play host to the 16U division for both pool play and bracketed play, concluding with the championship game on Friday, July 25. Six fields will be utilized for the tournament, including the high school varsity and junior varsity diamonds. Teams are coming from as far away as New York and Missouri for the event.
