The sanitary sewer on Lakside Street is currently planned to be relocated during the summer of 2015. The affected areas will be the 100 to 500 block of Lakeside from Waverly to Lane Street. The reason this project is being done is due to concerns that the existing sanitary sewer which is located underneath Pine Lake could present a danger to area beaches and wildlife if the sewer system fails and allows sewage to discharge into Pine Lake.
