Music For Me
Music exploration helps children increase their thinking and language skills, control and strengthen their bodies, become aware of where they are in time and space, follow directions and gain confidence and emotional intelligence. Our Winter 2017 classes will get your child moving to the music as they march like dinosaurs, play ball on a parachute, and rock a bear to sleep. They are going to use their imaginations and discover what they see in the jungle while keeping a steady beat on instruments, explore Jazz as they sing about their friend Eliza Jane, and much, much more! Come sing, dance, explore instruments and learn basic music skills! This developmental music class is for children birth through age 5. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to join in the fun. The tuition for the eight-week session is $40. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings, March 21-May 9, from 5:30-6:15 p.m. in the lower level of the Civic Auditorium. Pre-registration is required.
